Cultural Competency Training
In 2012, Neighbors Link worked with PACT and Northern Westchester Hospital to provide a series of Cultural Competency training sessions to members of the Mount Kisco Police Department. The success of that effort resulted in the Westchester County Police requesting the training for all 400 members of its force in 2013. The training is designed to promote better policing and communication skills in order to peacefully meet the changing demographic challenges of our community – particularly the growing population of immigrants.
